Meals On Wheels looking for drivers:

We are  looking for two drivers one for our Dover site and one for our Rochester site.  We pay our drivers  $8 an hour and  .51 cents per mile for mileage reimbursement.  All drivers are required to have a good driving record (with current license and insurance coverage), must have own transportation, able to lift and carry 30 lbs. and able to deliver meals in all weather conditions during all seasons.  Hours range from 9:45am to 1:30pm, if you are interested please fill out application at 25 Bartlett Ave, Somersworth.  We are there Monday thru Friday from 8-4pm, office is closed from 12pm - 1pm for lunch.   Or call for more information  692-4211.

We are continuously looking for volunteers at our sites.

Volunteers help with the everyday task of packaging the meals to go out to our homebound clients, setting the tables for in house dining, and also with clean up of daily sites.

Meals on Wheels needs donations of all kinds

MOW's was fortunate to receive a $2000.00 grant provided by the Thomas W. Haas Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.  Read more under our News & Events page!

Every month our sites hold a monthly special.  At these specials they like to decorate the sites with that months theme and tend to get more people that day than any other.  Each site has door prizes that people can win; those gifts range from Wal-mart gift cards, gas cards, restaurant gift cards, right down to hand made gifts!  Everyone likes to be able to win something and never seems to really matter what the prize is, they are beyond excited! 

Each site on the day of a special will have as much as 50 people, we try to have at least 5 gifts per site.  You can help us out with a donation of any kind, you can even let us know which site you want to donate to.  All is appreciated.
