Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels

We at Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels (SNMOW) know the importance of maintaining maximum independence and quality of life in our own homes.  We provide services that assist with achieving this goal and it provides a less costly alternative to institutional care. SNMOW serve meals to homebound seniors who are recovering from surgery and other temporary conditions, or those who require meals on a continuous basis.  Our drivers deliver a delicious and nutritious meal, a free newspaper, and important information regarding senior issues.  Most of all, drivers check in on the well being of our clients.  Meals are delivered to homebound clients and served at our dining room locations Monday through Friday.

Our dining rooms, located in Somersworth, Dover, and Rochester, are a focal point in their communities where they are the source of public information, community education, advocacy, as well as socialization and entertainment. Everyone enjoys the holiday and seasonal specials held at our sites where they also are greeted with the bright, warm smiles of our staff and volunteers, and might win a door prize!
